2012-13 Federal Budget Overview

Last night Wayne Swan announced projections that the federal budget will be effectively a ‘balanced budget’ in 2012-13 with a nominal surplus of $1.5 billion. The surplus is forecast to rise to $2 billion in 2013-14 and to $5.3 billion the following year.
