Brian joined the industry in 1996 following a career in applied science and allied health services. After several years as an adviser with RetireInvest, Brian set up a financial planning practice before joining Kilkenny Rose in 2002. In 2004 he became a Director and in 2008 Kilkenny Rose became a founding member of SFG.


A regular speaker on a range of financial planning issues, Brian maintains his association with the University of Queensland Economics Alumni where he received his degree in 1990. He has completed studies with the Securities Institute of Australia, holds a Diploma of Financial Planning, is a Certified Financial Planner™ practitioner and a Financial Planning Association of Australia member.
 
Brian’s expertise is in developing financial planning strategies, salary packaging and risk management. He specialises in customised strategies for professional and executive wealth accumulators, owner managed enterprises and Self Managed Superannuation Funds, with particular interest in asset protection.
 
Married to Angela, Brian has three active boys. Spare time is consumed by sporting activities - more often with his kids. In particular Brian has a passion for cycling, rugby and tennis.
