Tim is a Certified Financial Planner™ practitioner which is the industry’s highest accreditation. Tim has a combined Bachelor of Commerce and Law degree from the University of Tasmania, a Graduate Certificate in Legal Practice and has been admitted as a Practitioner of the Supreme Court of Tasmania and the High Court of Australia. After working as a lawyer for a major Tasmanian law firm, Tim worked in London as a commercial lawyer for a large UK company. Upon his return from overseas in 2006, Tim joined the Shadforth Financial Group as a Private Client Adviser. Tim has a Graduate Diploma of Financial Planning from the Financial Services Institute of Australia and is an associate member of the Financial Planning Association. Tim specialises in providing high level strategic financial planning and investment advice with a focus on wealth accumulation and preservation, superannuation, tax effective structures, managed and direct share investment and retirement. Tim lives in Hobart with his young family. Tim is a novice renovator and enjoys pursuing a range of outdoor activities particularly on the east coast of Tasmania.
