Barry has been involved in the industry since 1988, pioneering the profession in the Wimmera and Mallee regions when he moved his family to Horsham to found a national banking group's first financial planning service.
 
Barry holds the internationally recognised Certified Financial Planner™ designation, which is the highest qualification within the financial planning industry. He has also completed the Diploma of Financial Planning through RMIT University and been a member of the Financial Planning Association of Australia Limited since 1992. He regularly attends FPA conferences, adviser briefings, and technical sessions and also undertakes an FPA approved ongoing education program to ensure that the advice he provides is always informed and up to date.

In recent years Barry has been awarded membership of Personal Investor magazine’s Master Class of Top 50 Financial Planners across Australia, and has been rated a Premier adviser by independent ratings group Adviser Ratings.
