Ian Heraud is a Principal and member of the Shadforth Financial Group Holdings Ltd board.
 
Ian has been a practicing financial planner for 25 years. He is a CFP® practitioner and holds a Diploma in Financial Planning. He is a Fellow and life member of the Financial Planning Association of Australia.
 
Ian has served as a director of the FPA and for three years was Australia’s director on the international Financial Planning Standards Board headquartered in Denver, USA. He also represented Australia at the International Standards Organisation when developing the international financial planning standard (ISO 22222).
 
Ian has co-authored two books on superannuation and financial planning (Super Smart and Money Plans) and was the finance expert on ABC Melbourne’s Saturday morning finance talk back show. He won the national DUX prize for the Diploma of Financial Planning, Class of 1996, has worked with various universities, chaired the National Education Advisory Committee of the FPA, and is a member of the FPA’s Conduct Review Commission.
