Ashley Davis

Ashley is passionate about making a meaningful difference in his clients’ lives - through all stages of their life. Using Shadforth’s evidence-based investment philosophy, goal-based financial planning strategies and detailed modelling of advice scenarios to help provide certainty, Ashley enables clients to efficiently use their capital and resources and avoid making poor financial decisions.

After graduating from university in 1997, Ashley joined Ellwood Barry McPherson (EBM) and rose to EBM Director before the firm merged as a founding member of Shadforth Financial Group in 2008. Ashley is a member of Shadforth’s Investment Management Group and is active in developing the Group's investment philosophy and process.

In 2023 Ashley was honored on the Barron's Top 100 Financial Advisers in Australia and in 2004 at EBM, Ashley qualified for the Personal Investor Top 50 Masterclass.

Ashley is a keen sports follower – especially golf and cricket – and an enthusiastic overseas traveler. With travel off the cards recently, Ashley has been spending some of his personal time building his own wine cellar.
