Stephen is a Private Client Adviser in the Melbourne office for the Shadforth Financial Group.
Education and experience
Stephen is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® practitioner, the highest accreditation in the financial planning profession. Stephen also holds a Bachelor of Business (Accounting) from RMIT University and a Graduate Diploma in Financial Planning.
He is a regular contributor to the Australian Journal of Financial Planning, which provides leadership and knowledge to financial advisers across the country.
Prior to joining Shadforth, Stephen held senior financial roles with Mallesons Stephens Jacques, ANZ and Health Super/First State Super. He joined a Shadforth Financial Group founding member firm (Money Managers) in 2003.
At Shadforth, Stephen builds and implements tailored financial and investment advice to help people become financially well organised. His clients include young wealth accumulators, business owners, and retirees. His areas of expertise include lifestyle funding and management, cashflow analysis, ethical investment strategies, superannuation, and retirement planning.
Stephen has also developed specialised knowledge in aged care and forged a deep understanding of the education sector having worked with many primary and secondary school teachers to strengthen their long-term financial future. Through this understanding, Stephen can deliver immediate insight and understanding to new clients from within the education sector.
