Rick is a Private Client Adviser in the North Sydney office for the Shadforth Financial Group.
Rick is an experienced Private Client Adviser and a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® practitioner.
Rick has a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of New South Wales and is a Fellow of the Financial Planning Association of Australia. He also holds a Diploma of Financial Planning, is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants and a Justice of the Peace. Rick joined KPMG after graduating in 1978.
In 1986, Rick established his own tax and chartered accounting firm and, soon after, a financial planning practice with Godfrey Weston (now Godfrey Pembroke). He sold the accounting business in 2000 to focus on his thriving financial planning practice. Godfrey Pembroke named Rick 'Consultant of the Year' in 2001.
A regular speaker at industry functions and professional associations, Rick has spoken at the Financial Planning Association national conference on several occasions. In 2007 he received the FPA's prestigious 'Value of Advice' Award for Retirement Planning.
Rick lives on Sydney's North Shore with his wife Julie and their three children. Away from work, he enjoys fly fishing, travelling, wine and 'hands-on' participation in charitable bodies.
