In this role, Steven is responsible for leading the state team and creating an environment that facilitates the smooth delivery of our advice services.
Steven joined Shadforth from a large boutique financial planning practice in Perth, where he was the General Manager. His responsibilities included leading a team of over 20, developing and implementing strategic growth initiatives and coordinating the management of alliance partner relationships with professional and financial services firms. These partnerships ranged from smaller accounting and legal firms all the way up to a mid-tier accounting firm and a major private bank.
Prior to this, Steven was General Manager of an established multi-partner accounting practice in Brisbane. He also worked for over five years for an institutional financial advice business, where he was responsible for initiating and cultivating business to business partnerships with accounting and law firms in the Brisbane and Sydney markets.
Steven is passionate about the professionalisation of financial planning and the delivery of high quality financial advisory services to Australians with complex advice needs. Steven has completed a Master of Financial Planning and a Bachelor of Arts.
He is married to Vicky and they have four-year-old son, Gillon.
