About Alasdair

Alasdair is a Private Wealth Adviser in the Hobart office for the Shadforth Financial Group.

Education and experience

Alasdair holds a Graduate Diploma of Financial Planning.

Alasdair joined the Shadforth Financial Group in 2016 as a Client Relationship Manager, before undertaking study and moving through promotions to Paraplanner, Associate Adviser and Senior Associate Adviser before being promoted to Private Client Adviser in 2026. Prior to Shadforth, Alasdair worked in superannuation administration at Insignia Financial and in Client Account Management at the Australian Tax Office.

Alasdair is passionate about engaging with clients to build financial literacy and bring understanding and clarity to their financial situation and future.

Outside of work

Alasdair is always busy around the house with renovations, gardening and self-servicing the family cars. Alasdair enjoys playing social Soccer and is a Life Member of the University Football Club. Moreover, he loves taking his family out exploring the beautiful Tasmanian wilderness.
