About Aurora

Aurora is a Private Wealth Adviser based in the Melbourne office for Shadforth, having joined the firm in 2016.

Financial advice is in Aurora’s blood; growing up with a mother influential in the industry, she saw the power of the right advice, delivered in the right way, at the right time.

There is little more impactful on life’s overall trajectory than one’s finances. Aurora cherishes the privilege of tailoring financial and investment solutions to meet a client’s most personal needs and aspirations.

Education and experience

Aurora’s studies at Harvard University, the University of Cambridge and in Melbourne have equipped her with a broad portfolio of technical and advisory skills. She holds a Masters of Financial Planning, is an Accredited SMSF Association Specialist, and a member of the Financial Advice Association of Australia.

She specialises in complex structures, SMSFs and multi-generational planning – whilst noting that pragmatic simplicity should always be the end goal. Advising clients of all ages from accumulators to retirees, she values working with family groups, guiding up to three generations in some instances.

Aurora also has particular interest in helping time-poor professionals, executives and business owners, and currently manages a number of Private Ancillary Funds for clients pursuing philanthropic objectives.

She is experienced at working collaboratively with other professionals, seeking out accounting practices and legal firms who also put clients at the forefront of everything they do. 

Outside of work

Away from the office, Aurora loves keeping fit and active. Always looking for a new challenge, she has recently taken up golf despite very little natural ability. An avid reader, she is fascinated by history, and our place in it.

Aurora lives in Melbourne’s inner southeast with her fiancé Xavier.
