It’s a busy time for the business as we lead up to the end of financial year. If you haven’t already, over the coming weeks you will be meeting with your Shadforth advice team for your annual review. I hope this process provides you with peace of mind and clarity.

It has been an interesting few months on the investment markets since the return of Donald Trump to the White House. As at the time of writing, a truce in the trade war between US and China has resulted in a market rebound, with most stock indices recovering to pre-Liberation Day levels.

In this edition of the Edge, we look at Transition to Retirement (TTR) pensions and how, if you have reached 60 years of age, you may be able to access your super whilst working. We also look at aged care planning considerations with the new Aged Care Act coming into effect 1 July and providing more choice and control over how you use your funding.
